This family room is the hub of this busy family! This room blends rustic elements such as the wood burning fireplace and wood beams with modern finishes. Simple changes like upgrading the carpet, removing the wallpaper, white washing the fireplace, and adding new furniture, made this room the bright, comfortable living space this client desired. What a difference!
The fireplace underwent two face lifts. First, the brick extension on the side of the fireplace was removed. Second, a white wash was applied to the brick and black heat resistant paint to the brass.
