Shahin brings with her a wealth of experience when it comes to home staging and colour and design consultation. Over the years, she has worked closely with magazines such as Canadian House & Home, design shows such as The Decorating Challenge, and her own home appeared on CityTV's, Cityline.

Shahin has worked at the head office of a leading paint manufacturer in Toronto – developing a thorough knowledge of various brands such as Ralph Lauren Paints, CIL, Dulux, and Glidden. Her passion for design has enabled her to create colour cards, in-store colour displays, and name colour chips (yes, there is one named Shahin).

Shahin has a bachelors and masters degree in business and has a talent for transforming spaces with paint and accessories.

Colour and design consultation rates are $199 for two hours. Additional hours are charged at $75. All prices include tax. A small fee may apply for travel outside of London, Ontario.

Colour and Design Consultation

Services offered by Designs by Shahin include; selecting paint colours, suggesting decorative accessories and furniture placement, shopping for/with clients, visiting suppliers to select materials such as flooring and trim. A typical in home consultation is two hours in length and can be specific to one room, or can involve the entire house. Shahin comes armed with a wide array of colour swatches and inspiration to make overwhelming design decisions simple and enjoyable.

Home Staging

During a two hour staging consultation, Shahin examines your home with a 'buyers eye' and suggests furniture placement, room function, paint colours, design elements, and overall strategies to improve the look and feel of your home to potential buyers.

Secondary staging involves Shahin visiting your home with decor items such as cushions, artwork, bedding, and decor accessories. Small touches which can be rented for a minimal fee to help stage your home. Shahin has a wide inventory of items to help any home. For homes needing additional items, Shahin can suggest places to purchase items, or shop for you. Rental furniture or buying items second hand can also be arranged.
