It all started with a new fridge and a stove.... If the fridge was changed the cupboards above had to be removed to fit the fridge, which meant painting the kitchen, and losing storage space. If the stove stayed in the same spot, the challenge of improper venting remained. The cycle continued until a full kitchen reno was the only solution! What a difference! Quartz counters, a stone backsplash, fresh white cabinetry with functional storage, and vinyl plank flooring help to update this well used kitchen!
Custom cabinets were created and installed by Mark Basios (416) 627-4578. New vinyl plank flooring from Gem Stones Inc.
This homeowner dreamed of a white and gray kitchen. Her family loved this home for its location and layout, but the dark brown cupboards, brown granite counters, and a speckled gray back splash just didn't go with the style she was looking for. Solution - instead of a full kitchen replacement, the cupboards were painted white, and the back splash was replaced with a modern beveled subway tile. New handles and a coordinating light fixture help add some glam!
Although the counter and flooring are still brown, they tie in well with the fresh white cabinets and backsplash.
This home and a very dysfunctional kitchen. A lack of storage for pots, cupboards that did not close properly, and staining from a poorly functioning range hood. New cherry cabinets blended perfectly with the existing appliances to give this kitchen a well deserved update.
This side of the kitchen formerly had a kitchen table and chair set. In order to get pot drawers and much needed extra counter space, the table was replaced with functional cupboards. The family uses the adjacent dining room for meals.
